Export Compliance and Legal Specialist

About Pazago, we are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Legal Specialist. This role is critical in managing our company's legal and compliance framework. The right candidate will have extensive experience in international trade laws, customs regulations, and freight forwarding practices.
Responsibilities:- Review, draft, and negotiate Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Ensure all agreements are legally sound and aligned with our company policies and objectives.
- Stay informed on international trade regulations, export controls, and ensure compliance with global trade laws.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks, including SEBI and RBI.
- Address compliance requirements related to freight documentation, shipping protocols, and export-import operations.
- Handle legal disputes, claims, and notices from clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) required; Master's degree or certifications in compliance, international trade law, or intellectual property preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in legal and compliance roles, ideally in the software, IT, or export industry.
- Strong understanding of international trade laws, customs regulations, and freight forwarding practices.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Experience managing relationships with regulatory authorities and external legal counsel.
