Job Description

Experienced system administrators and automation engineers are sought after to manage and support control systems focusing on Allen Bradley PLCs and AVEVA SCADA platforms. The role involves system troubleshooting, maintenance, programming, diagnostics, and coordination with OEMs and IT teams to ensure high availability and performance of the system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • PLC Programming: Develop and implement PLC programs for automation systems using industry-standard PLC platforms with a strong background in Allen Bradley.
  • System Integration: Design, configure, and integrate PLC systems with other automation components such as sensors, drives, HMI, SCADA, and IO modules.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve issues related to PLC, SCADA programs, logic, hardware, and communication between systems.
  • Configuring and Troubleshooting: Configure and troubleshoot PLC systems in an industrial environment.
  • Testing and Validation: Perform system integration testing and validation of migrated SCADA systems.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance phases of projects, offering ongoing support to clients for troubleshooting and maintenance of PLC SCADA systems.

Required Technical Skills:

  • PLC: Strong experience in Allen Bradley.
  • SCADA: Experience in Wonderware, Invensys.
  • PLC Languages: Ladder logic, FBD, STL, structured text.
  • Communication Protocols: PROFINET, PROFIBUS, DNP3, Modbus, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP.
  • OPC: Kepware configuration.
  • Database: Knowledge on database, VBScripting.
