Job Title: Automated Testing Specialist

Job Description:

As an experienced QA Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java to validate both UI functionality and data integrity across ETL processes.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in automation testing, with hands-on experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing, SQL queries for data validation, and proficiency in TestNG / JUnit frameworks.

You will work closely with Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to contribute to test frameworks and reusable components for automation. Additionally, you will ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to QA standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 4-6 years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
  • Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Hands-on experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation.
  • Experience in TestNG / JUnit frameworks.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data at the source, staging, and target systems.
  • Perform UI testing to ensure functional correctness of web applications.
  • Validate that data displayed in UI matches the underlying database (end-to-end).
  • Identify, analyze, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
