Category Management Role

We are looking for a passionate professional to join our Marketing team as a Category Manager. This role is responsible for driving business growth by developing and executing marketing strategies across Mayonnaise, Spreads & Condiments.

This key position will involve:

  • SUPPORTING BUSINESS GOALS BY DEVELOPING AND EXECUTING MARKETING STRATEGIES ACROSS MAYONNAISE, SPREADS & CONDIMENTS
  • CONDUCTING PRIMARY AND SECONDARY RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY NEW OPPORTUNITIES IN THE MARKET
  • DEVELOPING PRODUCT CONCEPTS AND WORKING WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS TO BRING THEM TO LIFE
  • EXECUTING MARKETING PLANS AND IMPROVING PROCESSES TO DRIVE BUSINESS GROWTH
  • COORDINATING PRODUCT LAUNCHES, CAMPAIGNS AND AGENCIES TO CREATE A STRONG BRAND PRESENCE
  • CREATING BRIEFS FOR PACKAGING, CREATIVE AND DIGITAL PROJECTS THAT ENGAGE CUSTOMERS

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A POSTGRADUATE DEGREE WITH MINIMUM 4 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN BRAND MANAGEMENT PREFERABLY IN FMCG
  • STRONG FUNCTIONAL MARKETING KNOWLEDGE ACROSS BRAND COMMUNICATION, ACTIVATION, CONSUMER INSIGHTS AND NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
  • 'GET THE JOB DONE' MINDSET AND HIGH INITIATIVE AND OWNERSHIP
  • CREATIVITY, PASSION, FLEXIBILITY AND PERSISTENCE TO THRIVE IN A DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT
  • EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION, PRESENTATION AND MS OFFICE SKILLS TO COLLABORATE WITH TEAMS
