Mobile Application Developer Position

We are seeking an accomplished Mobile Application Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in React Native and AWS, enabling them to drive the continued development and enhancement of our mobile application and supporting services.

This role involves delivering high-quality, performant mobile experiences that meet franchise business needs. You will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to build features that support our rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design, develop, and maintain new features and improvements for the mobile app on iOS and Android using React Native.
  2. Integrate mobile applications with backend services and AWS infrastructure to ensure robust functionality and scalability.
  3. Implement user interfaces that are intuitive, accessible, and responsive.
  4. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  5. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to maintain a seamless user experience.
  6. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with appropriate test coverage.
  7. Optimize mobile applications for performance, speed, and efficient resource utilization.
  8. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards and practices.
  9. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mobile development and cloud integration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience developing mobile applications, with significant experience using React Native.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • Experience integrating mobile apps with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Cognito, DynamoDB, etc.
  • Solid understanding of mobile performance optimization and debugging tools.
  • Familiarity with mobile app deployment processes for both Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
