Non-Life Insurance Actuarial Professional

The role involves providing high-quality consulting and technical services to clients in India and overseas, focusing on non-life insurance projects such as IFRS 17 implementation & assurance, audit reviews, M&A due diligence, staff augmentation etc. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your skills in actuarial consulting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing actuarial consulting services to clients across multiple streams
  • Working on IFRS 17 implementation and assurance projects
  • Assisting with audit reviews and M&A due diligence
  • Contributing to staff augmentation projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4-7 years of actuarial experience in Insurance or Consulting Firms in Non-Life domain
  • At least 6 actuarial papers passed from IAI / IFoA as per the new curriculum
  • Prior experience with IFRS 17 / Ind AS 117 preferred
  • Prior experience of working in the India domestic market through insurance or consulting preferred
Expertise:
  • Expertise in one or more of: IFRS 17, reserving, pricing and product development, automation of actuarial processes
  • Thorough understanding of non-life insurance products and Indian statutory requirements preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Working knowledge of Python and / or VBA preferred
