Audit Leadership Opportunity

Seeking an experienced and skilled Audit Manager to lead large-scale audit initiatives across multiple verticals.

About the Role:

  • Lead statutory audits from planning to final reporting, ensuring management discussions are conducted effectively.
  • Manage multiple teams and their team leads, responsible for staffing, training, and performance reviews.
  • Ensure alignment with auditing standards, including SA 200 series onwards.
  • Collaborate with tax, finance, and legal teams to identify control gaps and compliance issues.
  • Own client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for escalations, walkthroughs, and closure.
  • Apply risk assessment methodology to focus audit efforts on high-impact areas.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations, including Companies Act, Income Tax Act, SEBI regulations, CARO, IFC, CSR compliance, and other applicable laws.
  • Utilize audit tools, checklists, and digital documentation systems to enhance turnaround time and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4-6 years of statutory audit experience, preferably in audit firms.
  • Independent Operator: Proven ability to independently close audits without supervision.
  • Team Leader: Experience managing multiple teams and audit teams simultaneously.
  • Subject Matter Expert: In-depth knowledge of Ind AS, IGAAP, SA standards, and financial statement preparation & review.
  • Strong Legal Acumen: Working knowledge of Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and other allied laws.
  • Deadline-Oriented: High accountability, thrives under pressure, and delivers audits on time.
  • Excellent Communication: Strong articulation for client presentations, board reporting, and team guidance.
