Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Audit Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing financial, operational, and compliance audits in accordance with applicable standards.

The Audit Assistant will assess internal controls, identify weaknesses, and recommend process improvements. They will review financial statements and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance, and prepare clear, concise audit documentation and reports with appropriate conclusions and recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and risk management. They will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and audit software, and possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification
  • 1-4 years of audit experience in a public accounting firm or internal audit role
