Job Description

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless software deployment within customer environments. This involves preparation, testing, and release of applications, as well as incident resolution and request fulfillment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the appropriate packaging and delivery approach is utilized for each application.
  • Executing the application packaging process within agreed SLA limits, encompassing application intake, packaging, technical testing, documentation, deployment, maintenance, and incident resolution.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, including customers, application owners, and vendors, to facilitate smooth package management.
  • Managing and supporting customer environments built on Windows client operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft Defender, SoftwareCentral, and the Microsoft Intune product family.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

  • At least 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell Scripting and basic level VB scripting for automating application installations.
  • Operational knowledge of the Microsoft Intune product family, focusing on application creation/integration and deployment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.
  • Experience working in an ITIL-based operations environment using ITSM toolsets like ServiceNow.

Experience in Citrix environments, Microsoft certifications (MD-100: Windows 10, MD-101: Managing modern desktops, or MD-102: Endpoint Administrator), and supporting multiple customer environments simultaneously are preferred skills.
