We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Senior Tax Specialist to oversee all tax-related responsibilities. You will be instrumental in helping organizations comply with tax regulations, identify savings, and ensure accurate reporting.

This role involves preparing various tax documents, staying updated with tax law changes, and providing valuable insights to management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tax provision schedules, returns, payments, and reports, while meticulously maintaining the company's tax database.
  • Identify and resolve complicated tax issues or errors arising from incorrect tax filings, proactively seeking effective solutions.
  • Identify legal tax savings opportunities and recommend actionable strategies to improve profits.
  • Ensure that clients comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations, maintaining strict adherence to legal guidelines.
  • Advise management about the impact of tax liabilities on corporate strategies or the implications of new tax laws.
  • Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Accurately prepare quarterly and annual tax reports.

Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of Income Tax, TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and GST (Goods and Services Tax) Provisions with their implications in business.
  • Demonstrated compliance-prone approach.
  • Strong legal drafting skills.
  • Proficient in Advance Excel, Tally, and other accounting software.
  • Tech-friendly with a good understanding of relevant technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and potentially lead.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all tax-related tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as Inter CA or Inter CMA are highly valued.
