Job Description

As a senior manager, you will play a key role in leading multiple engagements and supervising staff. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Top-level review of complex partnership, corporation, and S-Corporation returns prepared by staff/senior/assistant managers (Financial services)
  • Resolving queries recognized by staff/senior on potential tax adjustments due to tax law changes
  • Identifying international filing requirements through organizational chart studies and reviews of international tax returns
  • Training existing/new joiners on concepts and technology, sharing timely feedback for each project reviewed
  • Supervising kick-off and regular connects with US counterparts by teams, intervening in budget conflicts, resource scheduling conflicts, etc.
  • Guiding teams on efile validation of returns to minimize rejects and errors
  • Managing and coaching aligned professionals for their career paths
  • Responsible for quality and turnaround of returns for aligned office/niche
  • Providing regular and detailed feedback and motivating teams during tax seasons
  • Maintaining good correspondence with US point of contacts for seamless process flow and regularly touching base with schedulers to keep teams occupied and share return statuses
  • Executing assignments in an effective manner, including appropriate delegation and monitoring of work
