About the Job

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead end-to-end database migrations, leveraging expertise in Oracle Exadata and Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer environments.

Migrate large-scale databases across various setups, including data center-to-data center, cloud-to-cloud, and on-premises-to-cloud configurations.

Innovate migration strategies, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive migration plans, methodologies, and best practices for zero/near-zero downtime and high availability/disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful migrations, including infrastructure, application owners, and cloud architects.
  • Implement data backup and recovery solutions using Rubrik and RMAN, ensuring robust data protection.
  • Design and execute delta data synchronization strategies for near-zero downtime migrations.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager, ensuring proactive alerting and health checks.
  • Document migration runbooks, rollback procedures, and knowledge transfer to ensure smooth handovers.
