We are seeking a seasoned Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing.

Your primary objective will be to collaborate closely with product managers and developers to understand requirements and define automation strategies. You will build and maintain automated test scripts that ensure product quality across different modules, integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support frequent and reliable deployments, and analyze test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to faster resolution of defects.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, and backend testing.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to understand requirements and define automation strategies.
  • Build and maintain automated test scripts that ensure product quality across different modules.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support frequent and reliable deployments.
  • Analyze test failures, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to faster resolution of defects.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
  • Strong experience in building automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
  • Experience with REST API testing and integrating API validations into automation pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
  • Solid understanding of test design principles, test coverage analysis, and automation strategy.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile or Scrum-based environments.

This is an individual contributor role, requiring no team lead or managerial responsibilities.
