Job Description

The role involves overseeing technology risk management activities in ERP for the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance and managing user access privileges. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures for business transaction data processing to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
  • Ensuring ERP user management access privileges and passwords are secure.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance for manufacturing processes.
  • Taking overall responsibility for technology risk management activities in ERP for manufacturing processes.
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining a fully tested comprehensive disaster recovery plan for business continuity.
  • Configuring and validating critical fields and master data for manufacturing processes in plants.
  • Integrating ERP with government portal APIs, configuring and managing master configurations.
  • Customizing legal document output forms for PFI, e-Invoice copies, COAs and POs interfacing with customers and vendors.
  • Identifying high, medium and low priority user issues in daily business processes.
  • Developing and implementing MIS reports for compliance, regulatory requirements and finance needs.
  • Identifying user issues that can be solved through front-end or back-end solutions, requiring service provider involvement.
  • Ensuring security of transactions, preventing backdated updates and unauthorized user access based on user roles and privilege levels.
  • Monitoring system implementation, support, analysis, application integration and logical system security.
  • Ensuring ERP software is up-to-date with latest builds, complying with GST and TDS requirements with service provider coordination.
  • Troubleshooting all technology issues.
  • Formulating an overall strategy and policy for efficient ERP process functioning.
  • Monitoring, managing and maintaining all ERP business processes.
  • Purchasing, receiving and accounting for ERP modules to upgrade business processes.
  • Coordinating with plant IT teams for ERP implementation and support.
  • Building and managing a stable, disciplined and result-oriented team with successful leadership.
  • Identifying training needs for team members and providing formal training, guidance and coaching.
  • Maintaining employee morale by creating safe and efficient working environments.
  • Motivating, mentoring and counselling to achieve desired performance results.

Qualifications and Skills

A graduate from a technical background (BE/BCA) or master's degree (MBA/PGDBM/MCA) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in all ERP modules (Purchase, Inventory, Production, Quality Control, Sales, Export, Finance, HR - Payroll and Personal). Required skills include:

  • SQL
  • Excel Pivot
  • ERP technical modules RDF and DLD
  • Knowledge of tables and fields for accessing transactional and master data
  • Functional modules (Purchase, Inventory, Production, Quality Control, Sales, Export, Finance, HR Payroll and Personal) with business process knowledge
