Job Description\

The role of Cost Estimator involves evaluating the feasibility of new RFQs received from the sales team. This includes assessing the manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of the products in question.

Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Evaluate and check the feasibility of new RFQs\
  • Create 3D models and drawings using Solidworks\
  • Generate submittal and manufacturing drawings as per ANSI/ASTM standards\
  • Establish the manufacturing process at the quotation stage\
  • Calculate machining time based on established processes\
  • Handle costing independently and send quotations to the sales team\

Required Skills and Qualifications:\

Jigs and fixture knowledge, understanding of machining processes like turning, milling, drilling, heat treatment, and electroplating. Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes is also desirable.
