Job Title: Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:
This is a key position within our organization, responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that meet business needs. The successful candidate will have strong technical expertise in architecture planning, migration, installation, and day-to-day operations of complex systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement architecture plans to ensure scalability and extensibility
  • Conduct technology capacity planning to meet current and future requirements
  • Leverage new features of underlying technologies to improve system performance
  • Implement disaster recovery plans and backup strategies
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Plan and manage upgrades, migrations, maintenance, backups, installations, and configurations
  • Review technical performance and deploy improvements to increase efficiency

Team Management and Leadership:
  • Forecast talent requirements based on business needs
  • Hire and train resources to meet team objectives
  • Ensure 100% compliance with organizational standards for onboarding and training
  • Promote diversity in leadership positions

Performance Management:
  • Set goals and conduct timely performance reviews and appraisals
  • Give constructive feedback to direct reports
  • Ensure understanding and utilization of organizational programs like Performance Nxt

Employee Engagement and Satisfaction:
  • Lead engagement initiatives for the team
  • Track satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement
  • Challenge the team with larger and enriching projects and initiatives
  • Exercise employee recognition and appreciation

Deliverables:
  • Operations of the tower with SLA adherence
  • Knowledge management
  • New projects with timely delivery and avoidance of unauthorized changes
