Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineering expert to assume key responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Big Data technologies – including Spark, Hadoop, and Hive;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud Platform-provided Big Data technologies;
  • Experience in migrating workloads from on-premises to cloud and cloud-to-cloud migrations;
  • Knowledge of orchestration tools like Airflow and job schedulers;
  • Understanding of SQL and data warehouse concepts;

The Data Engineering expert will be responsible for:

  • Developing efficient ETL pipelines as per business requirements;
  • Performing integration testing of created pipelines in Cloud environments;
  • Providing estimates for development, testing, and deployments;
  • Participating in code peer reviews to ensure compliance with best practices;
  • Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines to support increasing data volumes and complexity;
  • Collaborating with analytics and business teams to improve data models and foster data-driven decision making;
  • Writing unit and integration tests, contributing to the engineering wiki, and documenting work;
  • Performing data analysis to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in resolving data issues;
