Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Costing Engineer to manage and oversee all activities related to panel costing in the Automation sector.

  • Manage all activities related to panel costing, ensuring accurate and timely final costing.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of automation systems (PLC, Drives, CNC, DCS, PCS) and electrical panels.
  • Take ownership of costing tasks and deliverables while leading a team of engineers.
  • Conduct technical discussions with clients, internal teams, and vendors to finalize requirements, configurations, and costs.
  • Provide regular status reports to management regarding costing, progress, and potential issues.

Key Requirements

  • A strong understanding of automation products and systems is required.
  • Proficiency in panel costing and project costing is essential.
  • Experience with PLC, Drives, DCS, PCS, and instrumentation panels is necessary.
  • The ability to work independently and lead a team is crucial.

Bonus Points

  • Prior experience in panel and automation product costing is highly valued.
  • Hands-on MS Excel skills are beneficial. Experience with SIEPAN or SIECOST software would be advantageous.

Candidate Profile

  • A degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation is required.
  • 6 to 7 years of relevant experience is preferred.
