Healthcare Product Development Specialist

This is a pivotal role where you will have the opportunity to define and deliver cutting-edge healthcare products that address critical market needs.

  • Define product vision & strategy in collaboration with senior leaders, aligning with overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Understand complex healthcare requirements, translating them into actionable user stories through thorough research, user interviews, and competitive analysis.
  • Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring it reflects the highest value features and epics.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders (clinicians, operations, sales, legal, compliance) and development teams.
  • Facilitate effective communication and manage expectations across teams.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure user-centric design that meets healthcare professional and patient needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and ensure product features are compliant.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • 4-6 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with at least 3-4 years directly within the healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical processes, regulatory landscapes, and common healthcare IT systems.
  • Proven experience in Agile/Scrum development environments, Scrum Product Owner certification a plus.
  • Exceptional ability to translate complex requirements into clear and concise user stories.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, Master's degree a plus.
