Job Overview:

As a dedicated professional, you will play a pivotal role in the timely execution and management of projects. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that project plans are aligned, and quality delivery is maintained.

  • Project Management (70%):
    • Develop and implement projects efficiently, aligning them with project plans.
    • Monitor and track the quality delivery of detailed implementation plans (DIPs).
    • Collaborate with program leads, coordinators, and internal teams to secure necessary support for project execution.
    • Foster innovative approaches in project activities.
    • Address operational challenges promptly, coordinating with the program coordinator and Program Lead.
    • Conduct regular field visits to monitor progress and ensure goals are met.
    • Enhance community ownership and participation in project activities for long-term sustainability.
    • Align project activities with community aspirations, leveraging their strengths to boost ownership.
    • Maintain transparency and accountability in all project activities to benefit the target population.
  • Community Partnerships and Advocacy (30%):
    • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders at community, ward, and district levels across various sectors.
    • Increase project and organizational visibility among government and other stakeholders.
    • Identify opportunities to align stakeholder activities with project goals.
    • Represent the project and organization at meetings, committees, and advocacy forums.
    • Participate in advocacy efforts at district and state levels to drive impactful change.
    • Collaborate with the technical team to design effective advocacy strategies and activities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Social Work or related field.
  • At least one year of experience in program implementation in the social sector.
  • Strong understanding of social and environmental concepts and methods.
  • Proficiency in English, Tamil, and Hindi languages.
