As a visionary leader, we are seeking an accomplished Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to co-found our innovative venture.

About the Role:
  • We require a skilled technologist who can envision and execute a high-leverage product at the intersection of social community and stock-market portfolios.
Key Responsibilities:
  • This role demands ownership of the tech plan and shipping a lean, testable MVP for Android and iOS that proves core product behavior.
  • The successful candidate will build, deploy, and iterate: from manual portfolio upload to read-only brokerage connect (secure) to live feed.
  • Architecting a serverless-first backend that can scale is essential, as well as owning all infrastructure and releases.
  • Hiring and managing a small engineering team as the product scales is also a critical aspect of this role.
  • Implementing monitoring, Sentry/observability, automated tests, and shipping cadence will be key to success.
Requirements:
  • A proven track record of building production mobile apps is essential.
  • Fully-stacked experience in frontend mobile, backend (serverless or Node/Go/Python), databases (Postgres/Supabase/Firebase), and storage is required.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs, OAuth flows, and secure token handling is crucial.
Culture & Expectations:
  • No micro-management; extreme ownership with decision-making authority and accountability.
  • We prioritize impact over hours worked, with a focus on weekly shipments and measuring progress.
Compensation:

Equity-based compensation, reflecting the value of a founding CTO position. No salary at this stage.

Interview Process:

  • A live system-design and coding session.
  • A founder-level deep dive into vision and alignment.
