Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a seasoned Contract Labour Manager to oversee our contracts with regular contractors.
  • This role demands strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Description of Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing agreements with regular contractors, including analysing contract clauses, obtaining management approval, preparing and coordinating legal aspects, and ensuring mutual signing of agreements.

Additionally, they will prepare and coordinate agreements, taking into account annexures such as work scope, rate sheets, and safety manuals.

To ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements, the Contract Labour Manager must have excellent knowledge of regulatory frameworks and maintain up-to-date records.

Analytical skills are also essential in assessing new initiatives planned for the year and determining their cost implications.

Making provisions for yearly service contract budgets and monitoring CPI changes to analyse their impact on contract revisions are additional responsibilities.

Audit contractors' records and ensure timely wage disbursement for contractual workers are key performance indicators.
