Stress Analysis Specialist

As a Stress Analysis Specialist, you will conduct airframe structural analysis using advanced tools and techniques. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Airframe Structural Analysis: Perform stress analyses on composite and metallic materials to identify potential weaknesses and areas for improvement.
  • Advanced Tools and Techniques: Conduct stress analyses using ISAMI, Hypermesh, MSC Nastran/Patran software to analyze and simulate complex systems.
  • Automation and Reporting: Develop and maintain Excel VBA scripts for automation and reporting purposes.
Key Responsibilities:

This specialist will be responsible for conducting airframe structural analysis using advanced tools and techniques. The primary objective is to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of these processes.

  1. Airframe Structural Analysis (Static, Fatigue & Damage Tolerance – F&DT): Conduct stress analyses on composite and metallic materials to identify potential weaknesses and areas for improvement.
  2. Perform GFEM updates, FEM validations, and DMU cleanings to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in stress analysis and structural engineering.
  • Proficiency in ISAMI, Hypermesh, MSC Nastran/Patran, and Excel VBA.
  • Strong understanding of airframe structural analysis principles and techniques.
