Backend Software Engineer Opportunity

Persistent Ltd. is seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team. We are looking for an experienced Java developer with expertise in creating and maintaining robust, scalable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and developing high-performing applications using Java.
  • Proficiency in working with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially using Jenkins, for automated deployments.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including cloud architecture best practices.
  • Exposure to Elastic Search, Python, and messaging systems like Kafka is a plus.
Requirements:
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java programming.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation in cloud-native environments.
  • Ability to contribute to both development and deployment/operations in a collaborative team environment.
