Job Title: Senior Security Strategist

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Product Security team in developing and implementing robust security solutions for cardiac medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management processes, and regulatory requirements.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product security strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and cybersecurity professionals dedicated to product security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security practices throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Oversee vulnerability identification and remediation, ensuring timely and effective incident response.
  • Establish and maintain security standards, frameworks, and best practices for product development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk-based security assessment and implementation.
  • Product security design and development.
  • Collaboration with global teams for security integration.
  • Security awareness and training.
  • Project timeline, budget, and resource management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in engineering or cybersecurity roles.
  • Proven expertise in product security, particularly in medical device or highly regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management processes, and regulatory requirements.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • CISSP, OSCP, or similar cybersecurity certifications.
  • Experience with IoT devices, embedded, mobile, cloud security, and data protection architectures.
  • Familiarity with security incident management and operations center practices.
  • Knowledge of national and international laws related to medical device cybersecurity.
