Procurement Lead Overview

As a seasoned procurement expert, you will oversee the entire procurement process from vendor confirmation to service master agreement creation.

  • Lead End-to-End Procurement Management including Vendor Confirmation, Auto PO Fixation, Rush Orders, Vendor Master Data Management, Expediting, E-Sourcing, and Service Master Agreement creation.
  • Manage Global Procurement and Sourcing from US-based suppliers.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Ensure timely delivery of goods, services, and works.
  • Expedite orders as needed to ensure proper documentation and tracking.

Responsibilities Include:

Oversee the entire procurement process from end to end. Ensure vendors meet required timing for materials and advise internal teams about delivery delays as soon as they're identified.

Purchase Requisition and Vendor Sourcing:

  • Review purchase requisitions and identify appropriate sources for supply.
  • Utilize E-Sourcing tools to create Service Master Agreements and manage contract terms.

Negotiation:

  • Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, and conditions to achieve cost savings for the business.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Publish weekly and monthly reports (SLA dashboards, MIS reports, PowerPoint presentations) and send them to the supervisor.
  • Ensure timely payment processing by collaborating with the finance department, resolving invoice discrepancies, and ensuring payments are in line with agreed terms.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher (preferred).
  • Progressive experience in purchasing, with exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with data analysis using an enterprise procurement system.
  • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ideal).
  • Demonstrated track record of motivation and success.
