About the Job:


We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software development projects, working closely with our engineers and project managers to identify and implement quality improvements.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Planning: Develop and execute quality plans in accordance with organizational QMS and ASPICE standards.
  • Process Compliance: Perform process compliance checks and deploy best practices across projects.
  • Process Harmonization and Improvement: Support process harmonization and improvement in the department QMS activities.
  • KPIs: Define, deploy, and track relevant KPIs applicable to the projects.
  • Assessments and Audits: Perform assessments/audits and software maturity reviews.
  • Quality Activities: Manage, execute, and track quality activities, including release management.
  • Stakeholder Management: Conduct periodic meetings with all internal stakeholders to ensure planned quality activities are performed.
  • Training: Conduct process trainings on QMS, ASPICE, and Agile approach.
  • Reporting: Generate MSR covering all aspects or parameters of project/product quality and report to management.

Qualifications:

  • Basic Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics/Information Technology.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in quality management practices supporting embedded system/software development projects.
  • Skills: Practical knowledge on Automotive SPICE/CMMi, ISO requirements, and experience on Agile way of working (Scrum, Kanban...).
  • Tools: Experience on usage of tools like JIRA, Confluence, RedMine, ALM tools, and defining workflows.
  • Process Definition: Process definition, deployment, and harmonization experience.
  • KPIs: KPIs definitions and analysis experience (e.g., in SDLC V Model, Scrum...).
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills, go-getter, and stakeholder management.


Additional Skills:

  • ASPICE Assessor: Provisional ASPICE assessor having practical assessment and process implementation experience on behalf of ASPICE Level 3.
  • Scrum Master: Certified Scrum Master (PSM/CMS) or know-how on Agile ASPICE Integrated approach.
