Solar Operations and Maintenance Specialist

Are you a seasoned professional looking for a challenging role in solar operations and maintenance? Do you have experience managing teams and overseeing the performance of multiple solar plants? We are seeking an experienced Solar Operations and Maintenance Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

  • Performance Monitoring and Gap Analysis: Track the performance of multiple solar plants, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are met.
  • Multi-Site Coordination: Liaise with site in-charges for day-to-day operations, issue resolution, and implementation of best practices across all sites.
  • Team Development: Support recruitment, training, and retention of site O&M teams to maintain high productivity and engagement levels.
  • Project Handover/Takeover: Ensure smooth transitions, following defined scopes and protocols.
  • MIS & Documentation: Manage weekly/monthly reports, documentation, invoicing, vendor bill verification, and ERP approvals.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify and onboard quality local vendors to optimize O&M costs without compromising service quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: B.E. in Electrical / Electronics & Telecommunication (E&TC)
  • Experience: 7–10 years of overall experience with min. 5 years in Solar O&M as middle level management. Experience with 33kV substations, transmission lines, and related troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Key Skills: Strong leadership and stakeholder management, Problem-solving and analytical thinking, Excellent communication and coordination skills, Proficiency in ERP systems, MIS reporting.
