Job Summary:

This is a highly technical position that involves developing and maintaining a deep understanding of data storage systems, including NetApp ONTAP, MetroCluster, FabricPool, and AQoS. The ideal candidate will have experience with solutions like StorageGRID and other object store services, as well as proficiency in both SAN (iSCSI, Fibre Channel) and NAS (NFS, CIFS/SMB) concepts and environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of data storage technologies, including NetApp ONTAP features, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Ensure proficiency in both SAN (iSCSI, Fibre Channel) and NAS (NFS, CIFS/SMB) concepts and environments to meet the needs of diverse clients.
  • Experience with solutions like StorageGRID and other object store services to expand our capabilities and reach new markets.
  • Hands-on experience with NetApp's cloud and automation platforms to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodologies for incident, problem, and change management to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools like Ansible to streamline processes and improve productivity.
  • Experience managing storage within virtualized infrastructures, such as VMware, to support growing demands and complexities.
  • Excellent customer-facing and communication skills for effective support and client interaction to build trust and loyalty.
