Expert Design Lead Required for Railway Signalling Solutions

We seek a seasoned professional to lead the design and engineering support team for railway axle counter solutions.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert design and engineering support for railway axle counter solutions, ensuring compliance with international safety and signalling standards.
  • Lead verification and validation activities, including first-time right checks, to ensure quality and fail-safe product performance.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and railway officers to address design, compliance, and product approval requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of product failures, propose corrective actions, and drive engineering improvements.
  • Manage engineering documentation, design reports, and ensure compliance with relevant international standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for project management, design support, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support embedded system-based product development with a focus on innovation and reliability.
  • Deliver technical presentations, training, and engineering support to stakeholders and clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics & Communication (ECE) or related discipline with at least 10 years' experience in railway signalling domain.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fail-safe signalling product design (HW/SW) and embedded systems.
  • Hands-on understanding of international standards and railway signalling concepts.
  • Expertise in reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety (RAMS) methodologies.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across all levels.
  • Proven ability in project management, root cause analysis, and liaisoning with vendors and railway officers.
