Job Title: Kafka Solutions Architect

We are looking for a highly skilled Kafka Solutions Architect to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Kafka messaging infrastructure. They will be responsible for architecting and creating reference architectures for Kafka implementations, as well as providing expertise in various Kafka components such as brokers, zookeepers, and connectors.

The successful candidate will also have strong skills in in-memory applications, database design, and data integration. They will be able to perform data-related benchmarking, performance analysis, and tuning, and will have the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and articulately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Kafka solutions that meet business requirements
  • Provide expertise in Kafka components such as brokers, zookeepers, and connectors
  • Perform data-related benchmarking, performance analysis, and tuning
  • Communicate complex technical information clearly and articulately
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Kafka messaging infrastructure
  • Hands-on experience with recovery in Kafka
  • 2 or more years of experience in developing/customizing messaging-related monitoring tools/utilities
  • Good scripting knowledge/experience with one or more languages (e.g., Chef, Ansible, Terraform)
  • Good programming knowledge/experience with one or more languages (e.g., Java, Python)
  • Considerable experience in implementing Kerberos security
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
