Senior Software Quality Assurance Professional

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer role involves overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive test plans to ensure the highest quality software products. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as development and product management, to identify and address software requirements.
As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium WebDriver Page Object Model framework. This will involve working closely with developers to define optimal automation plans, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products.
This challenging position requires a strong ability to analyze user needs and software requirements, coupled with excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication skills.
- Develop and maintain Automated Test frameworks and systems.
- Review automation code and provide suggestions.
- Develop test automation scripts in Selenium WebDriver Page Object Model framework along with maintaining and enhancing the automation test framework supporting a continuous integration environment with automated smoke and regression test suites.
- Selenium WebDriver API programming experience is essential.
- Knowledge of at least one language: Java, Python, SQL.
- Familiarity with Cucumber/Serenity-BDD.
- Ability to perform automated testing against web application UI.
- Ability to perform automated testing against RESTful services.
- SQL database query writing and analysis skills.
- Test reporting knowledge and review using TestNG, SoapUI, and Report Portal.
- Estimation and commitment management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and self-management abilities.
- Certification in Scrum, Agile, or Quality Assurance.
- Experience with SauceLabs or Browserstack.
- Previous experience in large-scale SaaS or financial technology environments.
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Git.
- Banking & finance domain experience.
- Ability to learn internal frameworks quickly.
- Staying up-to-date with latest QA practices, tools, and technologies.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in automation framework development for Web applications, and a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
