Quality Assurance Specialist Job Description


Ensuring software excellence is at the core of our quality assurance specialist role. This position plays a vital part in guaranteeing high-quality software products through efficient testing strategies and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create comprehensive documentation for testing strategies and processes to maintain consistency across projects.
  2. Develop and implement automated test frameworks using various tools, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  3. Design and execute manual and automated tests for web, mobile, and API applications, identifying areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs, fostering open communication and coordination.
  5. Drive improvements in testing processes and tooling, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

To excel in this role, candidates should have 12+ years of experience in software testing and test automation, as well as 3+ years of experience working as a Test Lead. Strong expertise in Selenium testing, particularly with web, mobile, and APIs, is essential. Additionally, experience in mobile automation using tools like Appium is highly valued. A solid understanding of CI/CD processes is also necessary.
