Seeking a highly skilled Physical Design Engineer to develop expertise in all aspects of Place & Route implementation, with a strong understanding of RTL2GDSII Implementation Synthesis, Floorplanning, Power Grid Design, Placement, Clock implementation, Routing, STA, Electrical signoff, Power-Analysis, and Chip finishing.

The ideal candidate will work on cutting-edge designs and/or processes, developing proficiency across a mix of designs/technologies/tools. Experience with EDA tools such as Cadence (Innovus, Virtuoso), Synopsys (ICC/ICC2, PrimeTime, StarRC), and Mentor Graphics (Calibre) is essential.

  • Developing expertise across the entire spectrum of Physical Design
  • Working on cutting-edge designs and/or processes
  • Experience with 16nm or below technology nodes
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Tcl, and Unix Shell

Key responsibilities include:

Designers should have a solid understanding of electrical characteristics, including EM, IR, and ESD, as well as strong timing skills. This role requires innovative thinkers who are eager to learn and grow professionally.
