Product Manager, Infection Control

About the Job:

This role involves overseeing product development and execution to build awareness and generate demand in the infection control market.

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager with expertise in medical equipment, devices, consumables preferably in the infection control industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of infection control practices and healthcare workflows, excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for launching new products or product lines, planning and coordinating marketing programs to create pull in the market for IC products, conducting symposiums, marketing programs, CMEs, and conferences from initiation to execution, and providing product technical information to bio-medicals, CSSD managers, and IC nursing heads.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute marketing campaigns to build awareness and generate demand in the infection control market.
  2. Liaise with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and sales teams, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of marketing strategies.
  3. Manage product life cycles, from launch to end-of-life, ensuring continuous market relevance and competitive advantage.
  4. Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitor offerings to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement marketing materials, including collateral and presentations.
  6. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmacy.
  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Healthcare Management preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in medical equipment, devices, consumables preferably in infection control industry.
  • Proven track record in managing technical products and consumables.
  • Strong understanding of infection control practices and healthcare workflows.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, operations, and sales teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms.
