Procurement Strategist

Mohan Impex is a leading organization looking to hire an experienced Purchase Manager to manage procurement operations for the entire country.

1. Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies, policies, and processes to enhance business performance. This includes aligning purchasing strategies with business objectives and operational needs.
2. Cost Control: Analyze and manage procurement costs, and implement cost-effective purchasing strategies to reduce expenses.
3. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential procurement risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure smooth operations.
4. Supplier Partnerships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving conflicts promptly and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
5. Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and compliance of procured goods, implementing quality control measures to meet organizational standards.
6. Inventory Optimization: Maintain optimal inventory levels, reducing excess or obsolete stock to minimize losses.
7. Procurement Coordination: Oversee the procurement of goods and services for the organization, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
8. Vendor Management: Develop new vendors, maintain accurate vendor records, and select vendors based on performance and reliability.
9. PO Management: Generate purchase orders (POs), track PO performance, and maintain accurate purchase records to ensure transparency and accountability.
10. Communication: Communicate effectively with project heads and other department personnel to assess purchase needs and ensure seamless coordination.
11. Price Negotiation: Analyze price proposals from suppliers and company financial reports to negotiate the best possible prices.
