Job Title: Cloud System Developer

We are seeking a skilled professional to design and develop scalable cloud systems. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for innovation, who can drive efficiency, stability, and performance in e-commerce.

About the Role:

This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create high-quality, reliable systems. The successful candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, containerization technologies, and server-side software engineering.

  • Design and develop scalable cloud systems using cloud infrastructure and containerization technologies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and reliability of systems.
  • Work with software engineers and platform engineers to optimize and develop repeatable systems.
  • Provide production support and creatively solve challenging engineering problems.
  • Mentor new hires and other engineers to increase technical efficiency across the organization.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 6+ years of experience working in a DevOps or SRE role, or software development, with an understanding of Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Experience with cloud platforms GCP, AWS, Azure, and containerization technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with server-side software engineering (Python, Go, Java, BASH, etc).
  • Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting, with a focus on performance monitoring and tracing instrumentation, and SLI/SLO/SLAs.
  • Excellent communication skills across engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders alike.
