Global Markets Analyst/Associate - Nomura Services, India supports the global businesses of our firm. With world-class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support, we play a key role in facilitating the global operations.

The Wholesale division provides capital raising and advisory services, structuring, sales and trading of global securities, and distinctive investment research to global corporations, governments and financial institutions. We aim to be globally competitive, delivering sustainable profits in areas where we choose to compete.

Structured Credit/Rates Trading Team

Our team works closely with Trading, Sales and Structuring functions dealing primarily with EMEA and US regions. We are looking for an Analyst/Associate who will work in close tandem with global trading desks facing dynamic markets and aggressive deadlines.

  • Work in close tandem with global trading desks facing dynamic markets and aggressive deadlines
  • Gain knowledge of global financial products and models developed by the business
  • Answer client requests, from data requests to designing and implementing bespoke models
  • Perform trade modelling, strategy selection, and performance analysis
  • Build-up infrastructure to implement new models and maintain existing ones
  • Work closely with sales, traders and structurers to enable new trades to be executed, post-trade analysis, position keeping
  • Convert financial market knowledge into understandable investment opinions
  • Remain current on market and commercial developments to help frame investment strategies
  • Help senior management prepare pitches for internal Investment committees, management packs

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a strong commercial mentality, good written and oral communication skills, and the ability to collaborate internally across teams.
