Business Intelligence Developer

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, report/dashboard creation, and data modeling, ensuring effective data-driven decision-making for our organization.

  • Develop interactive reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
  • Connect to various data sources, transform and model data using Power Query and DAX.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and security in Power BI solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and provide insights.
  • Implement row-level security (RLS) and other data governance measures.
  • Optimize Power BI performance by improving data models, calculations, and visualizations.
  • Publish reports to the Power BI Service, manage permissions, and ensure seamless accessibility.
  • Work with SQL databases, APIs, and cloud-based data sources to extract and process data.
  • Stay up to date with Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M language).
  • Strong experience in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
