Job Title: Embedded Firmware Engineer

We are looking for a skilled embedded firmware engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with embedded C firmware development and a good understanding of the architecture of microcontrollers and peripherals.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering advanced automotive-grade IoT solutions.\
• Prior experience in communication protocols, CAN, UART, REST APIs, and BLE is preferred.\
• The candidate should be able to provide technical insights to the team for solving issues that arise in our customer engagements globally, ensuring customer satisfaction.\
• A degree in engineering or higher in a relevant discipline is required.\
• A minimum of 2 years/3 years (preferred) of hands-on experience with embedded C firmware development for STM is required.\
• Experience with memory, power, and speed optimization of applications is required.\
• Prior experience with over-the-air upgrades to the software and firmware of an embedded system is preferred.\
• The ability to forecast technical risk for a project or engagement is required.\
• Prior experience with RTOS, interface libraries, and USB drivers is an additional plus.\
• The role includes designing, coding, and testing features of IoT devices, especially STM32 and possible ARM-based cortex.\
• The candidate should be proficient in creating documentation for the code created for IOT solutions.\
• Prior experience with providing solutions to issues related to the connection of networks like BLE, LoRaWAN, etc., protocols with mesh capability is preferred.\

  • Responsibilities include partnering with R&D product lines to drive the edge and gateway IoT development strategy and architecture.\
  • Work with existing hardware and embedded engineers to deliver advanced automotive-grade IoT solutions.\
  • Designing, coding, and testing features of IoT devices, especially STM32 and possible ARM-based cortex.\
  • Providing solutions to issues related to the connection of networks like BLE, LoRaWAN, etc., protocols with mesh capability.\
  • Coding for STM IoT devices, interacting with sensors and servers.\
  • Creating documentation for the code created for IOT solutions.\
  • Forecasting technical risk for a project or engagement.\
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.\
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and trends.\
  • Developing and implementing effective test plans and strategies.\
  • Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes as needed.\
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.\
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members.\
