Cleartrip Infrastructure Tech Lead

As a seasoned infrastructure engineer, you will oversee Cleartrip's infrastructure architecture, driving design, optimization, scaling, and security. You will guide a team of engineers, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and the ability to rapidly deploy new features while meeting growing user demands.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and scale high-performance infrastructure.

- Develop strategies for infrastructure growth and optimization in line with business objectives.

- Mentor and guide a team of infrastructure engineers.

- Oversee team performance, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.

- Architect and manage cloud-based environments, including CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration using tools like Kubernetes.

- Implement microservices architecture and ensure seamless integration of services.

- Ensure high reliability, availability, and performance of infrastructure components.

- Proactively manage systems through monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.

- Establish and enforce security best practices, ensuring adherence to compliance standards.

- Regularly review and update security policies and protocols to maintain robust system integrity.

- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to align infrastructure with business objectives.

- Support development and deployment processes, ensuring infrastructure reliability.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

- 7+ years in infrastructure engineering with leadership experience in managing complex infrastructure environments.

- Strong background in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.

- Expertise in containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

- Skilled in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.

- Proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture.

- Demonstrated ability to mentor teams, drive projects from inception to completion, and manage multiple priorities.

- Strong problem-solving focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.

- Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

- Advanced certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Kubernetes Certified Administrator are a plus.
