Senior Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary:

Main Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a skilled automation test engineer to join our team. Key responsibilities include translating test cases into automation scripts using C# for GUI and API tests.
  • The ideal candidate will adhere to coding standards and guidelines defined for automation, ensuring high-quality code that meets our requirements.
  • This position requires strong manual testing skills, with the ability to perform thorough testing of web-based applications and web services in a client-server environment.
  • We encourage proactive collaboration between manual and automation testing teams.
  • A deep understanding of web-based architecture is essential for this role, along with the ability to debug web or server errors efficiently.
  • Responsibilities also include independently performing functional, database, sanity, functional, end-to-end integration, and regression testing, adhering to Agile methodologies.
  • Reviewing code and fixing issues identified in scheduled automation runs is a key part of this position.
  • Analyze script failures and logged bugs to ensure timely resolution.
  • Submit and track automation-identified defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Educate team members about all blocking issues and deviations from standard operating procedures.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrate solid knowledge in automation testing and programming concepts.
  • Show experience in C# programming and its application in automation testing.
  • Effective testing of web services and REST APIs is critical, leveraging tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, POSTMAN, Protractor, and Playwright.
