Senior Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of our software systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, with experience in tools such as Cypress, Node.js, and TypeScript. They should also have solid CI/CD experience, including GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins, with artifacts and parallelization.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing test plans and cases for internal and external-facing software systems.
  • Developing functional and performance test scripts using languages like JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Collaborating with engineers to define and build quality verification systems for our tools and platform.

Candidate Profile:

  • 5–9 years of experience in QA/Automation with 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cypress (JS/TS).
  • Strong understanding of Page Object Model (POM), data-driven tests, custom commands, intercepts, stubs/mocks, and handling dynamic elements/retries.
  • Solid fundamentals in TypeScript/JavaScript (modules, async/await, promises).
  • Proven experience in CI/CD pipelines with artifacts and parallelization.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Cucumber/BDD with Cypress (@badeball/*) and Allure/Mochawesome dashboards.
  • Knowledge of Node.js scripting for test data and utilities.
