Quantitative Analyst - Data Science Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quantitative Analyst to join our team as a Data Science Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving data-driven initiatives across the business, leveraging advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantitative analysis, with expertise in programming languages such as Python and R. They will also possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to solve business challenges and improve outcomes
  • Mine and analyze structured and unstructured data using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Spark
  • Build and implement predictive models, simulations, and machine learning algorithms to optimize customer experience, revenue, and operational efficiency
  • Assess and validate new data sources and collection methods for accuracy and relevance
  • Develop custom data models and scalable algorithms tailored to business needs
  • Use Power BI to visualize insights and communicate findings effectively
  • Lead automation of data flows, reporting, and analytical processes using Python, R, Power Query, and cloud-based tools
  • Coordinate with engineering, product, and business teams to deploy models and monitor performance
  • Design and implement tools and processes to track model accuracy, data quality, and business impact
  • Deliver training modules and mentor junior analysts to build analytical capability across the organization
  • Share best practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement and data literacy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
  • At least 2 years' of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling
  • Proven experience in advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning
  • Strong programming skills in Python and R
  • Proficient in Power BI, SQL, and data visualization best practices
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS 
  • Skilled in process mapping, redesign, and automation of complex workflows
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change
