Cloud Data Solutions Architect
  • We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Cloud Data Solutions Architect to lead the design, build, and optimization of our data platforms on AWS and Databricks.

This role requires a strong blend of architectural vision and direct implementation expertise, ensuring scalable, secure, and performant data solutions from concept to production. A key aspect of this position is the ability to model and architect complex data systems that meet business needs and drive growth.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-based data services and infrastructure, as well as hands-on experience with AWS and Databricks. They should also possess exceptional proficiency in coding languages such as Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL.

  1. A successful Cloud Data Solutions Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines and architectures that are secure, scalable, and efficient. This includes owning the development, optimization, and performance tuning of Databricks jobs, clusters, and notebooks.
  2. Additionally, they will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and drive the adoption of cloud-based data solutions.
  3. Strong data modeling and architectural design skills, combined with a focus on practical implementation, are essential for success in this role. Certification in AWS and Databricks technologies is also a plus.
  4. Overall, we seek an individual who can effectively communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving collaboration and innovation within the team.
