Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Security Architect to enhance our security framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security architecture and experience with next-generation firewalls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security solutions using Palo Alto and other next-generation firewalls.
  • Oversee the deployment and configuration of firewalls, ensuring alignment with security policies and best practices.
  • Manage and optimize Zscaler cloud security solutions for secure internet access and data protection.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures throughout the architecture.
  • Develop security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior security team members.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in security architecture or related roles.
  • Strong expertise in Palo Alto and next-generation firewalls, including configuration and management.
  • Hands-on experience with Zscaler and cloud security practices.
  • Proficient in firewall implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer).
  • Experience with security automation and orchestration tools.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure.
