The Security Analyst will act as the local representative for the ITO Security team, ensuring security processes and protocols are followed for the office and organization wide. This entry-level position will handle security-related tickets, ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations, and escalate issues when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in security awareness, troubleshooting, and a hands-on approach to managing office-wide security operations.ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary security contact for the Chennai office during the designated work shift, representing the ITO Security team.Manage, resolve, and escalate security-related tickets through the company’s ticketing system.Ensure security awareness for all office processes and maintain organizational due diligence in line with the Information Security program.Monitor and respond to security events and alerts to prevent security breaches.Review and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to security;

assist in creating new SOPs as needed.Conduct vulnerability scanning, security incident response, and assist with internal security controls.Ensure business processes meet client and regulatory security requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001).Collaborate with global security teams, understanding the challenges posed by time zone differences and delayed communication.Provide support during internal audits and inspections for policy compliance.RequirementsCompTIA Security+ certification is required.Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in a security analyst or similar role, preferably in an IT environment.Understanding of security event management, incident response, and vulnerability management.Familiarity with security standards such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001.Experience with ticketing systems and resolving security incidents through established workflows.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring alerts and incidents are properly handled.Ability to work independently and take initiative in the absence of direct supervision.Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in documenting and reporting security issues.
