About the Job
As a Business Value Engineer, you'll help the sales and customer advisory team position and sell value of SAS platforms and solutions. You'll leverage your business and technical expertise to create a vision for potential customers, mapping out practical and functional details.
Responsibilities:
- Provide reliable articulation of business and financial value selling for SAS's business units.
- Synthesize technical data science & analytical outputs into a simplified business and value-oriented executive framework.
- Effectively partner with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns around value selling content.
- Coordinate with product and services, pre-sales and sales teams by providing business and operational knowledge.
- Strategize with pre/sales teams to improve opportunities during sales cycles.
- Leverage self-service product and solution training to acquire product knowledge.
- Contribute towards knowledge management capturing and storing benchmarks and value elements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or other quantitative field.
- At least five years of experience in a client & executive-facing role in advisory or value engineering.
- 7-10 years post-MBA work experience.
- Demonstrated business case and roadmap development.
