Job Description:

The role of a Data Governance Architect is a critical position within an organization. The primary responsibility of this individual will be to design, architect, deploy, and maintain big data-based data governance solutions.

This involves a combination of hands-on contribution, customer engagement, and technical team management, including assisting in getting new business.

The Data Governance Architect will work closely with various stakeholders, including business consultants, analysts, data scientists, senior data engineers, and developers, to develop data solutions that meet the organization's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data governance solutions using industry-leading tools and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and technical teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of data governance engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 10+ years of overall technical experience with a strong background in data governance.
  • 5+ years of experience working with data governance tool solutions and implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with data governance solutions, including data catalog, business glossary, and data quality.
  • Expertise in cloud computing platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
  • Experience with automation tools and techniques.
