Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced WAN Support Engineer to join our network operations team at POWER BRIDGE SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED. This role requires a candidate with a solid background in network troubleshooting and operations, focusing on routing and switching, particularly BGP. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of hands-on experience, preferably with a CCNA certification, and the ability to manage shift operations and vendor interactions for our global WAN infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and support the global WAN operations to ensure consistent and high-performance network connectivity.
  • Perform advanced network troubleshooting, focusing on routing protocols like BGP, to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Handle shift operations efficiently to maintain a 24/7 support model, ensuring seamless network performance and incident response.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for WAN escalation, resolving high-priority issues with minimal downtime.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to manage and resolve connectivity issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Utilize network monitoring tools to identify potential issues proactively and implement preventive measures.
  • Maintain detailed logs of incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures to aid in continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the team to optimize network operations and enhance troubleshooting techniques.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred).
  • 5-7 years of experience in network troubleshooting and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of routing and switching, with specific experience in BGP routing protocol.
  • Proficiency with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
  • CCNA certification is required.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
  • Strong leadership skills for shift management and vendor coordination.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/7 support model, including night shifts and weekends as required.
